Pressure cook 1 cup toor dal with 3 cups water, 1 tsp Jayaguru Kandhamal Haldi, salt for 3 whistles. In parallel pan, heat mustard oil, temper cumin seeds, red chilies, crushed garlic-ginger. Add chopped vegetables, remaining 1 tbsp Jayaguru Haldi, salt. Cook covered till tender (12 mins).

Combine cooked dal with vegetables. Add 1 tsp Jayaguru garam masala. Simmer 5 mins. Garnish with grated coconut and coriander leaves.
